Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance and Quality Control

  • Define, develop, and document quality systems, processes and procedures to ensure that products meet specified requirements enforcing policies and procedures. Adherence to ISO 9001 certification. All documents and procedures must be audit ready at given time.
  • Oversee quality procedures and processes of all manufactured products, conduct inspection and traceability management.
  • Perform Quality Compliance inspections on manufactured products including water purity checks, hat testing, and air testing as required by the relevant standards.
  • Drive continual Quality Improvement efforts, Non-conformance, and Product Defects reporting
  • Lead team to drive scrap cost reduction by using problem solving tools and poke-yoke method
  • Be responsible to supplier quality management (supplier audit, CI SQN)
  • Establish supplier scorecard performance measures on quality, cost and on-time delivery
  • Drive customer satisfaction improvements in quality area by leading a series of Kaizen initiatives  .
  • Taking ownership of the entire process, provide a complete investigative review of customer complaints to relevant stakeholders, dealing with customer quality complaints (CQN); provide agility in quick turnover on warranty claims by customers including appropriate documentation to manage credit.
  • Strict control on licensed and certified products.
  • Control and Issuance of Certificate of Conformance on all certified products.
  • Alignment of Quality Assurance procedures to Long Range Planning of Operations

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Act as the site Health, Safety & Environment Representative in ANZ
  • Provide Environment Health & Safety guidance and compliance support to site management team to ensure the compliance of internal and external regulations/rules
  • Advocate health & safety to all staff across all functional departments
  • Evaluate facility EHS conditions, assess risks and develop appropriate corrective-action plans and budgets to address deficiencies in comparison to regulations and client internal policy/protocol.
  • Lead and engage associates to promote Near Hits submission and keep follow up with the solution owner to close the NHs effectively and timely.
  • Keep management apprised of progress and significant developments on key projects.
  • Support efforts to analyze and communicate performance against expectations, provide feedback, establish and track required actions to improve performance.

 

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the QA/QC management role
  • Be familiar with ISO9001
  • Familiar with internal and external audit
  • Familiar with quality control and analytical tools
  • Familiar with Operations/Manufacturing Engineering
  • Bachelor with major in Science/Industrial Engineering/Electronics
  • Relevant experience in chemical, safety and related engagements
