Business Process Manager – Sylmar, CA

Quixote is one of the nation’s premier film and television studios and is looking for a Business Process Manager to join our Operations team! This individual will be responsible for helping drive process improvements across different areas in Quixote such as Manufacturing, Yard Operations, Accounting, and other divisions. In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and innovation across our organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze current manufacturing and operational processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address process bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Analyze current inventory management processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop relocation plans and strategies to optimize inventory storage and accessibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate inventory relocation activities.
• Utilize data analysis and modeling techniques to forecast inventory movement and storage requirements.
• Implement best practices for inventory management, including FIFO, JIT, and lean principles.
• Work closely with the purchasing team and monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities as needed.
• Provide training and support to staff members involved in inventory relocation processes.
• Continuously evaluate and refine inventory relocation strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Other duties as assigned. 

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
• 4+ years of full-time relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in process engineering, with a focus on inventory management and logistics.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation:

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 annually. 

The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment. In compliance with the California Law, a potential new employee’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. 

Quixote Studios reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above
