What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a full-time Assistant Community Manager to join our team at The Trellises Apartments, a 301-unit community located in Florence, Kentucky.. As an Assistant Community Manager at Ackermann Group, you will be responsible for staff scheduling, delinquency, administrative compliance and management level decision making. This person interacts with the property team, as well as current and prospective residents to present the apartment community in its most favorable light while sustaining acceptable levels of physical and economic occupancy. Additional responsibilites include:

  • Entry level supervision of team and administrative and sales/marketing aspects with occasional light manual labor.
  • Leading by example to consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences that garner positive reviews.
  • Providing leadership for property team.
  • Coordinating scheduling of property team.
  • Acting as a management level decision maker for resident and prospect related feedback and concerns.
  • Ensuring all administrative aspects associated with the leasing, move in and renewal process are completed accurately.
  • Managing the inventory of marketing collateral and/or other office supplies as assigned by the Community Manager.
  • Participating in the creation of leasing, renewal or other property performance related goals.
  • Leveraging Ackerman property management software and reporting capabilities to evaluate and manage property level delinquency.
  • Managing the eviction process.
  • Collaborating with the Community Manager on the implementation and execution of expense management strategies.
  • Documenting and assisting with the scheduling of resident generated service needs.
  • Acting as auxiliary Leasing Consultant when they are not available.
  • Taking responsibility for other work-related tasks as assigned by Community Manager.

 

The ideal Assistant Community Manager will have:

  • Availability to work full-time: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm + rotating Saturdays, 9:00am - 4:00pm
  • At least 2 years of multi-family sales and leasing experience
  • Marketing, sales, and customer service experience
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft office. Experience with Yardi Voyager, Rent Cafe, and CRM is preferred.
  • A professional, courteous attitude towards all
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
