Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, hunter-minded, results-driven Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building strategic relationships with customers in the field of Beauty and Personal Care and leading revenue growth. This role will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales pipeline, converting leads into long-term partnerships, and shaping the commercial strategy to accelerate business expansion. The ideal candidate is a deal closer with strong customer centricity, technical knowledge, and excellent presentation and communication skills. This role also contributes to the continuous improvement of sales processes and marketing tools, while staying on top of market trends and sharing insights with internal teams.


Essential Functions, Key Objectives, and Responsibilities:
• Build and manage strategic relationships with key accounts.
• Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and new customer acquisition.
• Generate and qualify new leads; build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Obtain, write up, and manage briefs; initiate Stage 1 (new project request) and guide projects through Commercialization.
• Write, present, and negotiate Statements of Work (SOW). Close deals and onboard new clients.
• Respond to RFPs and manage incoming briefs with precision and speed.
• Responsible for communicating clear and timely forecasts for her/his customers to inform internal Budget and Supply and Demand Planning processes.
• Support continuous improvement of sales development processes and marketing tools.
• Share market feedback and insights to inform internal strategy and innovation.
• Input budget planning and 3-year strategic exercises.
• Identify, contact, and qualify potential customer leads; gather and manage contact information.
• Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, digital outreach, and industry events.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and ensure timely follow-up.
• Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, production, regulatory) to align solutions with client expectations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships to foster trust, loyalty, and repeat business.
• Close deals efficiently and ensure a smooth onboarding and project kickoff.
• Help improve sales development processes and tools, including outreach scripts, pitch decks, email templates, and CRM workflows.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure alignment and efficiency.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences.
• Share market feedback with internal teams to support product development and strategic planning.
• Represents the customer in all aspects of the business relationship with our internal departments.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Competencies:

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, or a combination of both.
• 5+ years of experience in sales/business development (beauty and personal care products preferred).
• Experience managing RFPs, briefs, and Statements of Work.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Preferably direct experience in the personal care, cosmetic, or fragrance industry.

 

Travel: Up to 50% of travel required.
