What you’ll do:As a Technical Support Engineer AMS, you are the first point of contact for both internal and external customers. You support customers or colleagues via phone, email, and the ticketing system, while being able to set clear priorities. You ensure the correct handling and follow-up of first-line helpdesk requests, which may be both technical and administrative in nature. You also support the technical department in projects to ensure they are properly monitored and completed. Your main tasks and responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact within the AMS department for following up, registering, and resolving first-line helpdesk requests.
- Independently maintaining and optimizing our article database in accordance with established conventions.
- Analyzing tickets and registering/escalating more complex issues to the appropriate teams.
- Advising customers on how to use tools and applications in the most efficient way.
- Collecting, maintaining, and following up on all relevant information to provide solutions within projects.
- Collaborating with colleagues and other departments to achieve the desired outcome for both ad hoc helpdesk questions and project-related issues.
- Contributing to a knowledge base by documenting solutions.
- Always maintaining a customer-oriented attitude.
What do you need?
- An A2 degree in a technical field or a bachelor’s degree.
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- A proactive approach that fosters continuous improvement.
