Position Summary

As a member of the Treasury Services team, the Treasury Services Specialist's top priority is to provide the highest level of service for the clients of Core Bank.  A Treasury Services Specialist will offer a one call or one visit resolution for customer issues and be a sole point of contact, working closely with Relationship Managers from various business lines, and ongoing support for existing clients/services.  A Treasury Services Specialist will be knowledgeable in both business and personal deposit products as well as lending products to efficiently service all of a business owners banking needs.  Professional decorum is a must as the Treasury Services Specialist will be communicating with high value customers both on the phone and on site at the business location.

 

Core Responsibilities

  1. Handle customers concerns and resolve issues with one call or visit, often working closely with operations and commerical lending teams to meet customer needs and resolve issues.
  2. Open and maintain both personal and business accounts and products including all business account types, specifc treasury account types, business Visa debit cards, and changing account signers.
  3. Review and interpret business documentation to include operating agreements, articles of incorporation, corporate resolutions, etc.
  4. Understands and accurately applies beneficial owner rules.
  5. Conduct on site set-up, training, troubleshooting and maintence of treasury products and services.
  6. Takes ownership of  the Concierge Desk phone and email group to respond professionally and in accordance with the department's defined service level agreement (SLA).  Actively monitors, updates, and assigns workload via the department's ticket system.  Responds promptly to all client messages.
  7. Effectively uses resources such as core system provider, manuals, and documents to troubleshoot issues, problem solve, and increase expertise.
  8. Acts as subject matter expert for Business Online Banking, including troubleshooting, functionality, roles, implementation, and maintenance.
  9. Provides support for lockbox services.
  10. Remote Deposit Capture maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting to compare volumes for compliance and trends.
  11. Set up, maintain, and monitor business sweeps.
  12. Knowledge and execution of ACH including set up, Notice of Change, Notice of Returns reviews, and compliance.   
  13. Set up, maintenance and troubleshooting of fraud mitigation tools including Positive Pay and ACH Positive Pay. 
  14. Recognize opportunities for cross-selling additional products and services when appropriate by engaging Relationship Manager to ensure increased fee income.
  15. Recognize when a request should be handled by the service side or, if a new client, requires the engagement of a Sales Analyst or Relationship Manager.
  16. Continue to build internal relationships as a trusted point of contact for Commercial RMs, Wealth Management, and other internal business line partners.
  17. Act as a "go to" for other Treasury Services team members and have the ability to make decisions and execute independently.

Qualifications


Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of banking experience required, with some focus in business banking or treasury preferred.
