Duties

You will advise senior leaders on the most effective use of manpower resources within an organization.,You will analyze budget, staffing resources, and organization structure to determine the most efficient procedure for integrating these resources.,You will oversee human capital programs and provide guidance regarding civilian workforce management matters.,You will conduct surveys to solve problems involving organization workload, structure, or procedures.,You will prepare briefs and reports on an incentive pay program, policies, and procedures to submit to leadership.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting management with organizational restructuring, reorganization, and position management; 2) Coordinating with management to secure needed information or decisions on work problems and issues for manpower; 3) Assisting in studies designed to improve overall operations, increase mission readiness, and optimize the use of manpower resources; 4) Advising management on with options and alternatives, with regard to recruitment, selections, reorganizations, realignments, and organizational change actions; 5) Assisting management in navigating through USA Staffing (reviewing certificates, pulling resumes, and making selections); and 6) Working with management in establishing future organizational and business directions to maintain and sustain organizational knowledge and talent in addition to ensuring future succession planning needs are met. This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
