Position Summary

We are a technology-forward electronics manufacturer seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our Infrastructure and Help Desk teams. The IT Director will oversee IT infrastructure, networking, security, and end-user support across our three manufacturing sites and datacenter. This role manages our IT Infrastructure Manager and distributed Help Desk staff, ensuring secure, reliable, and modern technology services that enable business performance. While infrastructure and help desk are the core focus, familiarity with enterprise systems (ERP, MES, BI) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead IT infrastructure and operations across three manufacturing facilities and corporate datacenter.
  • Build, manage, and execute a multi-year IT roadmap aligned with company strategy.
  • Oversee company-wide help desk and end-user support.
  • Manage IT operating and capital budgets; track and optimize IT costs.
  • Mentor and develop IT staff, creating a high-performing team.
  • Partner with Security & Compliance to ensure alignment with ITAR, CMMC, ISO, and AS9100 requirements.
  • Support enterprise system initiatives (E-Commerce, ERP, MES) through infrastructure alignment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive IT leadership, with experience in multi-site operations.
  • Strong track record of managing IT budgets, cost control, and vendor relationships.
  • Experience developing IT roadmaps and executing technology modernization initiatives.
  • Manufacturing IT experience (ERP, MES, OT/IT integration) strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
