Work Schedule:

LPN Salary Ranges: $25.08 - $37.63

RN Salary Ranges: $35.70 - $53.54

Job Responsibilities:

Duties:

  • Assists Physicians in office surgical/medical procedures.
  • Facilitates and manages flow of patients through clinic.
  • Provides direct patient care to patient of all ages.
  • Facilitates the exchange and coordination of information regarding patient process.
  • Monitors medical supplies and exam room stocking, quality assurance, state and local Regulatory requirements, standards, and other patient related needs.
  • Consistently utilizes information systems in a confidential and accurate matter.
  • Routinely performs chart checks as designated according to clinic policies and protocols.
  • Consistently provides documentation which is legible, pertinent, complete and timely.
  • Consistently follows clinic policies and procedures.
  • Assists stocking of medical and pharmaceutical supplies.
  • Monitors various inventories, quality assurance requirements, standards, and other patient related needs.
  • Acts as a patient advocate through effective communication with patients, family and other staff regarding the patient’s treatment, ordered tests, procedures, medications and hospitalizations.
  • Responsible for safety issues and utilization of resources to provide cost effective, quality care.
  • Consistently utilizes universal body substance isolation protocols and other identified infection control policies/procedures.
  • Consistently provides appropriate feedback to peers and/or supervisors regarding systems or staff performance issues that affect safe, quality care.
  • Provide other clinical and clerical support as directed by the Clinic Supervisor.
  • Schedule/duties will be determined by the needs of our patients, clinic schedule, and may require modification from time to time.
  • As determined by Clinic Leadership, may be required to float to provide staffing support in other Specialty Clinics (Island Urology, the Sports & Spine Clinic, and the Sleep Wellness Center).
  • Must have demonstrated ability to interact positively with Administration, Directors, Supervisors, peers, co-workers, subordinates, patients and visitors.

RN Job Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited registered nurse program

  • Current Registered Nurse license issued by the WA Department of Health.

  • Two years’ experience in an ambulatory setting within the last five years.

  • Must maintain active BLS certification.

LPN Job Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of previous clinical experience in an out-patient Physician practice preferred.
  • Must maintain current Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the WA Department of Health.
  • Must maintain current BLS certification.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: 

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is exposed to inside environmental conditions, protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.  The employee may be exposed to dust, pollens, pollutants, fumes and communicable diseases as related to a health care environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

While performing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk, and have hearing sufficient to understand conversations, both in person and on the telephone. The employee is often required to sit for potentially long periods of time throughout the workday. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arm. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus sufficient to operate computer systems.
