Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center has an opening for a per-diem onsite Outpatient RN in Specialty Care for our Multi-Specialty Clinic. The Outpatient Services Registered Nurse (RN) participates as a member of the health care team in delivering quality, specialized nursing care to patients requiring infusion therapy, wound care management, therapeutic phlebotomy, and other provider-ordered services in an outpatient setting. The Outpatient Services RN exemplifies proficient knowledge in the administration of treatments, using up-to-date, evidence-based, and clinically supported safety guidelines

Skills, Knowledge, & Experience Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited RN School or program.
• Unencumbered Registered Nurse Licensee in Oregon.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
• Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) Certification is required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification is preferred.
• Wound Care Certification (WCC) is a plus.
• Two years of Clinical experience are required.
• Previous work experience in an outpatient or acute care setting with a focus on infusion therapy and wound care is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication, and computer proficiency in online software, EPIC experience a plus.

This is a per-diem, onsite position that is not eligible for benefits.

Employment with Southern Coos Hospital is contingent upon an acceptable pre-employment drug screening and background check.
