At LionHeart, we’re committed to keeping mission-critical power systems running without fail. That means every role on our team—from technicians in the field to support behind the scenes—matters deeply. As a Engine Fluid Diagnostics Coordinator, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining the performance and reliability of power generation systems by evaluating the internal health of engines, fuel systems, and cooling systems through fluid analysis.

We’re looking for someone who thrives on details, is naturally curious about how things work, and has a technical mindset—especially when it comes to engines and mechanical systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze oil, fuel, and coolant samples from generator engines and related systems to detect abnormal wear, contamination, and early signs of failure.

  • Interpret test data to provide actionable insights to service teams, guiding maintenance decisions and preventing equipment failures.

  • Spot trends and anomalies in data and recognize patterns that signal mechanical issues—your detective skills will be key.

  • Collaborate with technicians and customers, gathering context about equipment use and sharing your findings in a clear, professional way.

  • Organize and prepare samples for lab testing, ensuring proper labeling, tracking, and documentation for quality results.

  • Research equipment specifications, fluid requirements, technical bulletins & OEM manuals to enhance your diagnostic accuracy.

  • Assist in the ongoing development of trendlines and historical data sets for equipment types, manufacturers, and usage patterns.

  • Double-check everything—whether it’s test data, sample labels, or system reports—because details matter in our business.

  • Stay curious. Stay sharp. Continue learning about engine systems, testing methods, and new technologies in the power systems industry.

What You Bring

  • A strong attention to detail and desire to get things right the first time.

  • A natural curiosity for engines, machines, and mechanical systems—you don’t just want to know what went wrong, but why.

  • 1+ years of experience in an engine-related, diesel, or mechanical field preferred (but we’re open to fast learners with a technical mindset).

  • Ability to communicate findings clearly with both technical and non-technical teammates and customers.

  • Comfort using computers, entering data accurately, and reviewing reports.

You’ll Love Working Here If You:

  • Get a sense of satisfaction from solving mechanical mysteries and helping others understand the "why" behind a problem.

  • Want to grow your technical knowledge and become an expert in condition monitoring.

  • Enjoy supporting a team that values quality, reliability, and integrity.

If you’re energized by engines, driven by data, and inspired by the idea of keeping critical systems running without fail, we want to hear from you.
