Rocksteady Music School is the UK’s largest rock and pop school. We teach fun and inclusive in-school band lessons to primary age children. Our mission is simple: to amplify children's self-belief and remove barriers to music education. We’re currently in thousands of schools in the UK, teaching tens of thousands of children every week – and we’re growing fast.

We all play our part in supporting our band leaders to reach as many children as possible with their lessons. We are a community of music lovers using our individual talents to help give children the self-belief to succeed. That’s what gets us out of bed in the morning.

Please note: This role is office based and can be based out of our Liphook or Birmingham office.  It will be office working hours and holiday structure. It is not a term time position.

We’re now looking for a Sourcer in the Recruitment team  to support the department to continue to recruit the best talent across the business as we continue to grow and empower children through music.

As a Recruitment sourcer you will:

  • Headhunt for all roles across the business using various platforms to promote Rocksteady job opportunities
  • Reach out to our talent pipeline candidates to engage with prospective candidates about working with Rocksteady
  • Maintain our talent pipeline to ensure candidate data is current and correct
  • Update and check-in with candidates throughout the process to provide excellent candidate experience
  • Work closely with marketing to deliver weekly comms to prospective candidates who have subscribed via email
  • Promote Rocksteady's employer brand through active participation in job fairs, recruitment, and other networking events.
  • Support the reviewing of applications and conduct pre-screening calls for any relevant roles across the business.
  • Supporting recruitment team at Assessment Days and Final Interviews/Observations as required
  • Any other tasks appropriate to the role as required
As a sourcer you’ll need:

  • Excellent organisation and administrative skills
  • Great relationship building skills with an ability to build instant rapport
  • The ability to communicate passionately and confidently with candidates and colleagues
  • Great time management skills and a proven track record of consistently meeting deadlines
  • Experience working within a recruitment team ideally
We appreciate that previous experience does not always tell the full story so if you like the sound of this role, don’t rule yourself out if you feel you don’t tick all the boxes.

Every once in a while, you get the chance to be part of something really special. When you join Rocksteady, you know immediately that you’ve found it. We might be growing fast but we pay special attention to protecting our unique working culture and ensuring everyone feels comfortable to be themselves at work. We look out for each other, welcome new colleagues as friends and stay true to our small-company roots; rolling up our sleeves if a job needs doing, solving problems together and, most importantly, always putting the children first. Likeminded people are joining us and we’re reaching more and more children with our lessons every week. We keep growing because we’re driven by our passion for the life-changing nature of music.

Join us and use your skills for good.

Your Passion. Their Future.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our fast-growing Recruitment Team to support the department to continue to recruit the best talent across the business as we continue to grow and empower children through music.
