Reporting to the Project Management Team Lead, this role is responsible for planning, resourcing and delivering a number of business focused initiatives. This role requires managing a varied team of resources and stakeholders to achieve key strategic objectives in the Product space.

The Project Manager role involves liaising with internal departments as well as interacting with key partners, customers and third parties to coordinate the delivery of complex projects – both technical and non-technical.

We are looking for someone who possesses a demonstrated capability in delivering multiple projects within a fast-paced environment, collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to deliver results.  Being well versed in stakeholder management, project governance, status reporting, risk management, as well as excellent written and verbal communication is key.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Lead end-to-end project management activities, ensuring quality and timely delivery
  • Manage key stakeholder expectations
  • Ensure project alignment with the goals and objectives of the business initiative / program
  • Define appropriately detailed integrated project plans for cost, time and quality for the agreed scope of business initiatives
  • Define and manage dependencies of projects with other on-going initiatives
  • Identify variances in project progress and take corrective actions
  • Regularly assess and report project statuses & risks to stakeholders including senior management
  • Ensure successful transition of all changes


Influence:

  • Make decisions which influence the success of projects and team objectives.
  • Collaborate regularly with team members, users and customers.
  • Engage to ensure that user needs are being met throughout.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the Product team.


Business Skills:

  • Communicate fluently, verbally and in writing, and present information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders who share common objectives.
  • Apply applicable standards, methods, tools and applications.


Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience with delivering multiple projects within a fast paced environment
  • Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively & efficiently lead project teams without line management authority
  • Proven experience in managing projects with third party partners
  • Ability to present to, and build confidence with Senior Management
  • Reliable and resourceful
  • Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others
  • Understanding of Agile development principles
  • Desired: Knowledge of travel and/or B2B payment industries.
