Roles and Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: In this role, you'll connect with customers using our cool video communication software (SmartLook). You'll get to use virtual tools and resources, collaborate with experts, and provide updates on your assigned customers. Sometimes, you might help out with other services offered by Intuit, so being flexible is key!
  • Bookkeeping Knowledge: You’ll be using your bookkeeping and accounting skills to manage client calls. Attention to detail is super important, as you’ll need to quickly find what you need to help with client work according to our service agreement.
  • Meeting Deadlines: You'll work efficiently to meet deadlines and process client work promptly as per our service agreement.
  •  Customer Experience: In this customer-facing role, you will use your empathy and knowledge to create awesome customer interactions and experiences that build confidence.
  • Problem Solving: Tackle complex bookkeeping issues, like fixing financial statement errors, cleaning up charts of accounts, handling sales tax problems, managing accounts payable/receivable, payroll issues, and answering questions about third-party services.
  • Organization Skills: Stay organized to ensure timely follow-ups and communication with clients.
  •  Financial Statements: Prepare and review financial statements and workpapers.
  • Expert Services: Provide expert bookkeeping and accounting services.
  • Accuracy Check: Review information from customers to ensure everything is accurate. 
  • Research: Look up regulations to provide the right guidance.


  • Qualifications
  • Experience: Ideally, you should have 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
  • QuickBooks Knowledge: You need at least one year of experience with QuickBooks Online.
  • Education: A 4-year degree is preferred.
  • Certifications: Having a QuickBooks Online Pro Certification is required. CPA and/or CPB credentials are a plus and need to be obtained before starting work on Intuit’s account.
  • Skills: Be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiar with technology and comfortable with computer operations and software.
  • Internet Connection: You need a high-speed internet connection (like DSL, cable, or fiber).
  • Customer Service Skills: You should be friendly, professional, and reassuring while interacting with customers through video and audio tools.
  • Work Environment: Be able to thrive in a fast-paced virtual setting with minimal supervision.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and determination are important!
  • Bilingual Bonus: Knowing both English and Spanish (written & spoken) is a plus!
