About the Department
Under minimal supervision, the Outreach Coordinator plans and coordinates training and wellness initiatives for HCTRA staff utilizing internal and external resources. This position is also responsible for the coordination and communication of various activities, initiatives, and events for staff through the creation and dissemination of advertising materials.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans and coordinates annual training and wellness curriculum for HCTRA staff by utilizing internal and external resources.
- Coordinates vendors and logistics for various health activities, initiatives, and events.
- Creates, communicates, and disseminates advertising materials for all trainings and events as well as prepares and distributes employee service awards.
- Collaborates and networks to establish and build long-term internal and external relationships with vendors.
- Oversees the HCTRA intern program to include collaborating with departments to determine needs. Creates, develops, and manages professional development for the internship program.
- Organizes departmental and managerial trainings based on specific requests and needs.

Position Duties
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent from an accredited institution
- 4 years professional experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Liberal Arts, Human Resources, or a related field
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to long-term plan
- Ability to multi-task multiple projects
- Ability to build rapport and relationships with internal and external customers and vendors
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Physical Demands:
Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Minimum Qualifications
Position Type and Typical Hours Work:
This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Hours may vary based on the business needs of the department.Work Environment:
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. There are no major sources of discomfort. A normal office environment with acceptable lighting, temperature, and air conditions is provided.Reporting Relations:
