The position: We are seeking to fill a Resident Service Coordinator Supervisor position. Under general direction in the Health and Housing Program, the Resident Services Coordinator Supervisor will oversee the supportive services coordination for Seattle Housing Authority residents.

The ideal candidate has: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, counseling, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Three or more years of experience in case management or direct social service delivery.
  • Two years of supervisory experience in the social services field.
  • Experience working with interpreter services and other language resources.
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license and insurable driving record.

What will you do?

  1. Develop and oversee the Resident Services Coordinators (RSC) core services in collaboration with key stakeholders.  E 
  2. Provide leadership and supervision of staff (to ensure service coordination aligns with the program objectives) and staff development, coaching, and performance evaluations. E
  3. Develop effective internal and external partnerships and communications for the coordination of resident services and strategies to address residents’ needs. E
  4. Oversee creation and implementation of programs and outreach strategies for residents’ education and engagement regarding community services and resources, including application procedures and client rights. E
  5. Supervise the non-clinical assessments for identifying specific residents' needs to support residents’ plans, services, goals, and desired outcomes. E 
  6. Ensure that all safety and health rules, standards, and procedures are observed; coordinate monthly self-inspections of work areas and practices to eliminate potentially hazardous conditions; assist in efforts to ensure that accident investigations of all accidents are formally reported on or within the next workday of when the accident occurred; coordinate monitoring and enforcement of the agency’s Safety and Health Program and actively support and participate in the Emergency Preparedness program and tasks.   
  7. Attend all required training sessions and meetings. 
  8. Perform related duties as assigned.
