Part-Time Nanny (Up to 20 Hours/Week) – Jovie of Boise
Location: [Meridian, Idaho]
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (up to 20 hours per week)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, nurturing, and engaging part-time nanny to care for our energetic 4-year-old son. The ideal candidate will bring integrity, creativity, and a love of helping children learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and engaging care for a 4-year-old boy
- Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities, including outdoor play, walks to the park, library visits, crafts, and building projects
- Support early learning using Montessori principles (colors, numbers, practical life skills)
- Utilize Love and Logic principles for positive guidance and discipline
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying play areas, dishes, and laundry related to the child
- Collaborate with parents to support family routines and values
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children (nannying, teaching, coaching, or childcare)
- Dependable, trustworthy, and caring personality
- Active, energetic, and creative, with a love for engaging children in both play and learning
- Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) Montessori and Love and Logic approaches
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation
