APCO Worldwide is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant with experience supporting healthcare clients to join our Mumbai team. In this role, you will collaborate on a variety of strategic communications initiatives making a meaningful difference for clients and communities.

Responsibilities
- Manage and implement a wide range of strategic communications campaigns for our high profile, globally-recognized healthcare clients
- Support to design and implement multi-faceted, integrated campaigns to position client issues and priorities with key audiences that may include elected officials, media, key opinion leaders, consumers and industry stakeholders
- Create and edit high-quality written deliverables, such as bespoke messaging, issue backgrounders, briefings, press materials, and social media content often under tight deadlines
- Drive thought leadership initiatives, positioning clients as industry experts and leaders in their field
- Develop compelling communications and content to convey complex policy and/or social issues
- Monitor developments in key client issue areas and flag opportunities for further client engagement
- Participate in business development activities including writing proposals and developing pitch decks
Qualifications
- At least 4-6+ years of strategic communications, health or public affairs campaign experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Knowledge in the Healthcare industry will be an added advantage
- Exceptional writing and analytical skills, and the ability to write both strategically and creatively under tight deadlines
- Outstanding presentation skills including the ability to engage an executive leadership and experience briefing senior-level clients
- Solid project management experience, including overseeing a team and multiple deliverables
