Freezer Driver- Receiving - 1st Shift chez 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC

Position Summary
This position is primarily responsible for the safe operation of a double reach forklift as well as a variety of additional lift trucks to move materials and products within the distribution center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily:

• Certified to operate a double reach forklift

• Adhere to all safety and OSHA guidelines while operating lift equipment

• Use RF scanner to input data into warehouse management system

• Operate a forklift in various surroundings and multi-temperature settings (-10°F to 40°F)

• Put away, transfer, retrieve, pick, and deliver materials in storage

• Unload and load pallets from inbound trailers

• Pick and stack cartons onto a pallet for individual or store orders

• Use RF scanner to pull accurate SKUs and quantities

• Comply with all SQF (Safe Quality Foods) standards

• Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• 6+ months of previous forklift experience on similar equipment

• Basic reading (English) and math skills

• Previous inventory scanning experience required
