Casting Supervisor – Jewelry Manufacturing
We are looking for a Casting Supervisor to oversee a team of Casting Specialists in our Shop LC Jewelry manufacturing operations. This role requires both hands-on expertise in jewelry casting and strong leadership skills to ensure precision, quality, and efficiency in the production process.
Casting Specialist – Jewelry Manufacturing will report directly to the Loss Prevention Manager of Shop LC.

The following are the primary job responsibilities for the role:
- Supervise and lead a team of 5 Casting Specialists, providing training, guidance, and daily oversight.
- Plan and assign casting tasks to ensure timely delivery of production schedules.
- Monitor casting operations for quality and consistency, resolving technical issues and troubleshooting equipment as needed.
- Review finished castings, identify defects, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality control teams to meet deadlines and product standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Maintain records of production output, quality checks, and equipment maintenance.
- Recommend process improvements and contribute to continuous enhancement of casting techniques.
In order to perform this role, we are looking for someone with
- 5+ years of experience in jewelry casting (lost wax process strongly preferred).
- Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of precious metals (gold, silver, platinum) and casting machinery, including vacuum systems and burnout ovens.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to train, mentor, and motivate team members.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Physical Requirements
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps.
- Moving around to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
- Remaining in a stationary position, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Frequently lift 20-50lbs and occasionally lift 50 to 70 pounds.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
