WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: As a Landscape Architecture Intern, you’ll work alongside licensed landscape architects on exciting projects that impact communities and the environment. You’ll assist with site design, collect field data, and contribute to creative and practical solutions for outdoor spaces.
Once selected to join our team, you will:
- Support landscape architects with site design, drafting, planting plans, and construction documentation.
- Collect data through site visits, field surveys, and environmental analysis.
- Analyze site conditions and contribute design ideas.
- Organize project files, maintain records, and help with scheduling.
- Participate in team meetings and share your insights.
- Observe professional practices and develop technical and creative skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE:
- Basic knowledge of landscape architecture and site design principles
- Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS, or Adobe Creative Suite
SKILLS:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Eagerness and willingness to learn and adapt to new skills and technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professionalism and strong work ethic
EDUCATION:
- Actively pursuing a degree (undergraduate or graduate) in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Design, or related field
