SUMMARY:

Rides with driver over established route to deliver/unload product and makes changes by correcting directions and/or paperwork and perform the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist drivers to ensure that the customer’s product is safely delivered on time and in excellent condition. 
  • Assist driver to ensure that appropriate delivery documentation is generated for each load. Ensure orders are loaded safely and in a manner that will prevent damage in transit. 
  • Load and unload truck. Lift, pull, move, product weighing 100+ lbs. on a daily basis, numerous times throughout the day. 
  • Help verify loads for quality and completeness. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be dependable, neat in appearance, a good listener, and personable with good communication skills for direct customer contact.
  • Must be able to lift/move heavy loads (100+ lbs.) on a continuous basis throughout the day.
  • Must be able to work 8-12-hour shifts Monday- Friday

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School graduate or GED required.

Schedule: Monday- Friday, a typical day usually starts around 4:30am to 6:30am.

Salary: $18.00 an hour. Minimum 40 hours but opportunity for overtime. 

*Additional pay when needed to drive a truck.*
