Job Summary: 

The Key Account Manager promotes and sells company services through direct client contacts within an assigned book of business. Schedules sales calls and submits reports of sales activities. Generates positive revenue growth within defined customer base focusing on growing business services and overall revenue while retaining existing clients.

  • None

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Develop growth strategy and initiate contact with assigned customers through sales phone calls, cold calling, and onsite meetings. 
  • Introduce additional Crane services to potential clients and build and maintain ongoing relationships.  
  • Work with clients to understand and identify their strategic vision, objectives and needs while aligning our products and services.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications: 

  • Four-year college degree, preferred or success as a Service Representative.
  • 1-3 years previous experience in sales or service industry.
  • Solid sales experience.
  • Strong client-facing skills and effective at selling to executives, owners, or other decision-makers.
  • Entrepreneurial and goal-driven focus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Plans, organizes, and uses time efficiently and effectively.
  • Dependable, follow instructions, responds to management direction. 
  • Maintains a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and ability pass a drug and background check.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and talking on the phone, attending virtual online meetings, and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Must be able toperate a motor vehicle and travel when needed.
