BTC Trust Company of South Dakota is currently seeking an intern for summer 2026.  Our internship is a full-time, onsite, paid position and will run from approximately June 1, 2026, through August 31, 2026, depending on the successful candidate’s availability. 

The successful candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the Trust Company from transactional processing, client management, legal, compliance, and other trust administration functions at our Sioux Falls office.   The South Dakota Trust Industry currently administers over $815 Billion across over 115 Trust Companies.  The successful candidate will experience the intersection of the law, finance, investment management, and general business practices.  

BTC Trust Company of South Dakota is the successor to the oldest trust company in South Dakota and is affiliated with Bankers Trust, Iowa’s largest privately-owned bank.  We have a full-time staff of 6 professionals in our Sioux Falls office and are supported by more than 20 Back and Middle Office professionals in Des Moines, IA.
