About the Department
Assist the General Manager in all aspects of the Men’s Basketball program.
Position Duties
Assist the General Manger in all aspects of the program including: Coordinating travel and/or recruiting activities of prospective student-athletes; revenue sharing partnerships; donor relations; data analysis; coordination of student assistants; community relations; and, player programs.
Supplemental Functions:
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
3-4 years of experience as a college or professional athlete
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
| Possess exceptionally strong organization, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Handle highly confidential material. The ability to exercise and apply sound judgment and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of data. Remains current, interprets, and complies with all Federal, State, NCAA Conference and University rules and regulations pertaining to Athletic Compliance and other related business operations. |
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
| Frequent walking, standing, and other physical activities. Regular exposure to gym and athletic venues with accompanying hazards. Possible irregular working hours, including evening, weekend and holiday hours. May need to be available evenings and weekends. |
