About the Department
Performs a variety of duties to test CNA students in various skills required to become CNA certified. Ensures accurate and confidential testing is provided to students
Position Duties
- Delivers testing services for basic nursing skills, basic restorative care skills, personal care skills, and essential behaviors to all skills.
- Requires objective observation and documentation of skills steps performed. Following standards and procedures set forth by the office of the Utah Nurse Assistant Registry. See UNAR Exam Guide on utahcna.com.
- Assures strict confidentiality on test results.
- Attends all training sessions and conferences required by UNAR.
- Performs other related duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a current RN license.
- Must be licensed and in good standing with the Utah Department of Professional Licensure.
- Minimum of two years of responsible experience performing nursing duties and working and understanding of CNA’s basic long-term care and teaching skills, personal care skills, and essential behaviors to all skills.
- Basic computer and tablet skills helpful.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and manage work assignments in a highly interpersonal contact environment.
- Must consistently maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to work with a diverse group of individuals.
- Some evening work required to accommodate testing scheduling.
Other Qualifications
