Work Location:            Colorado Springs, CO

Schedule:                    Full Time; 40 hours per week; 8 hours per day in office (remote work is not authorized)

IronMountain Solutions is seeking a Joint Exercise Senior Military Operations Analyst Task Lead to support the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) G37 Training, Readiness and Exercise Division (G37 TREX) Joint Exercise Support Team.  Advisory and assistance services include the planning, execution, and collection of lessons learned for U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM), U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), 1st Space Brigade and 100th Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) joint exercises and major training events using the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) process.

This position is contingent upon contract award. 

Job Responsibilities:      

  • Supervisor of the Joint Exercise contractor team; approve leave and travel requests, review travel vouchers, consolidate Monthly Status Reports (MSRs), monitor timecard and company training compliance, conduct interviews/hiring actions, and advise on travel funding.
  • Coordinate directly with USSPACECOM, USSTRATCOM, USNORTHCOM, other Geographic Combatant Commands (GCCs), Army Service Component Commands (ASCCs), Corps, Division, 1st Space Brigade, and the 100th Ground-Based Mid-course Defense (GMD) to provide required space exercise support
  • Provide expertise in planning USSPACECOM, USSTRATCOM and USNORTHCOM exercises, as well as those assigned for other CCMDs using the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) process.
  • Monitor training audience reactions, manage exercise JTIMS/JTT injects, and provide exercise updates to the USASMDC staff during exercise execution as part of the Exercise Control Group (ECG).
  • Participate in COCOM-level In-Progress Reviews (IPRs), JELC Planning events (IPC, MPC, FPC, MSEL), Intelligence Scripting Conferences, and exercise executions.
  • Coordinated with USSPACECOM components, Joint Staff, and intelligence community counterparts to build realistic space Road to Conflict (RTC) scenarios and exercise products in support of Tier I exercises and wargames.
  • Manage force request utilizing the Joint Training Management System (JTIMS), Joint Training Tool (JTT), and Army Training Management System (ARTIMS) for participating forces.
  • Subject matter expert for adversary space and counterspace capabilities, doctrine, and Courses Of Action (COAs). 
  • Coordinate with the USSC Foreign Disclosure office to verify releasability of exercise products and conference materials to foreign training audiences.

Education and General experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years leadership experience as field grade/senior NCO or equivalent
  • Brigade or above level staff experience including orders production and tier 1 level exercise planning.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Willing to travel in support of business needs.
  • Salary range $165,000 - $175,000
