Lebanon Valley College invites applications for a 12-month, full-time, tenure track, assistant/associate professor of physical therapy in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Responsibilities include teaching and active participation in scholarly activities, clinical activities, and professional service. Preference will be given to individuals with expertise in, but not limited to, biomechanics, clinical examination, and/or clinical interventions

Anticipated start date is January 2026; salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience. Completion of an academic doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DSc) in Physical Therapy or a related discipline or being enrolled in a post-professional doctoral program is preferred. Previous teaching experience and evidence of scholarship is also preferred. Pennsylvania licensure eligibility is required.

The College’s Physical Therapy program is fully accredited and is currently housed in the newly constructed 60,000 sq ft Arnold Health Professions Pavilion which includes flexible classroom space with technologies that enhance teaching, a fully equipped human performance lab, a ten-table gross anatomy lab, and a robust faculty office suite, and houses our student-run free physical therapy clinic. Nine full-time faculty members, supplemented by a number of adjunct instructors, are responsible for the instruction of the professional phase of the curriculum.
