Mechanical Engineering Intern

Overview

We are looking for aMechanical Engineering Intern to join our Houston office. This role providesexposure to mechanical design, equipment specifications, and field applicationsacross energy and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in drafting and checking mechanical design documents.
• Assist with equipment data sheets, material take-offs, and vendor submittals.
• Learn mechanical standards and specifications relevant to rotating and static equipment.
• Participate in site visits, vendor coordination calls, and project team meetings.
• Conduct basic engineering research and prepare technical notes.
• Provide administrative support for project schedules, files, and engineering packages.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred).
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science coursework.
• Exposure to CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is helpful.
• Team-oriented, detail-focused, and proactive learner.
