This individual will provide technical expertise to translate business requirements into value-added services and cost-efficient IT Infrastructure solutions across multiple technologies.  Ensures continuous transformation of IT Infrastructure to meet the evolving demands of the client’s enterprise IT needs. Responsibilities also include leading or supporting key initiatives to assist the Emerging Markets Group (EMG) to identify opportunities and craft solutions that will maximize the value of solution offerings. Ideal candidates must possess experience leading and facilitating technical capability development, advancement, as well as transition through effective ITSM.

 

This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from Tampa, Florida.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a main solutions developer and technical advisor for Infrastructure Engineering and IT services delivery & management for EMG.
  • Support EMG Contracts (IT Infrastructure/Network/Communications) across its operating companies.
  • Execute and / or facilitate solutions development efforts to support growth activities within EMG to drive innovation and new designs into the IT infrastructure that lead to higher efficiency and effectiveness of the services provided by EMG.
  • Lead the development / definition of a technology vision and solutions for projects or opportunities within the existing or target client base, including but not limited to the solution architecture, supporting the development and updating of roadmaps, researching and assessing best practices.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating new technologies (cloud, AI/ML, cybersecurity, data analytics) and assessing their applicability to federal government challenges.
  • Develop white papers, briefs, proposals, best practices, and other corporate branding activities. Participate in customer meetings, oral presentations, and other growth activities as required. 
  • Support Business Development and Capture team with the definition of use cases as well as Business Cases (scope, goals, deliverables, costs, timescales, plans, resource requirements and milestones) for potential requirements.
  • Assist the business group’s human capital development and reskilling initiatives to strengthen technical skills across the environment.
  • Assist the group leadership to determine and help orchestrate the delivery of business outcomes with the implementation of new technology initiatives as requested.
  • Research and understand industry technologies and nontechnology trends that apply to customer environments.
  • Develop partnerships with and maintain necessary requirements for certifications with our core Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) / Technology partners.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry, academia, and technical leaders within the GovCon ecosystem.
  • Support the review of business opportunities and determination as related to the company strategy and initiatives.
  • Support other corporate initiatives and projects as needed. 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in developing and delivering enterprise IT capabilities to the Federal Government.
  • Must have a Master’s / advanced degree in technical disciplines (master's degree may be substituted with 3 years of relevant professional experience).
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in the English language with experience briefing senior technical and executive leadership. Must be able to demonstrate writing skills through writing samples or other means as requested.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance as needed. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), Network and Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, Compliance, Virtualization platforms, Cloud-enabled XaaS services delivery models (Private, Public, Hybrid), Identity Management, Zero Trust principles and enterprise collaboration technologies. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Advanced Analytics, and Data Visualization.
  • Knowledge/experience executing best practices such as Agile, ITIL, ISO 9001, ISO 20000, CMMI and DevSecOps.
  • Experience and knowledge as well as certifications in relevant technical disciplines are highly desired).
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and leadership within the federal government to enhance and modernize IT infrastructure to align with client business portfolios and service-level requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex IT infrastructure and developing scalable enterprise technology strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Understanding of the federal procurement lifecycle and proposal development processes (i.e. Shipley).
