Job Description

Responsible to assist the Press Operator with the press set-up according to the job order. Will perform the below mentioned duties and any other duties assigned.

Duties and responsibilities
•    Responsible to enter daily labor totals and production totals
•    Responsible to change sleeves/seals/blades
•    Prepare inks/maintain ink levels/viscosity levels
•    Verify job order
•    Load rolls of film
•    Unload printed rolls and label correctly
•    Place return labels on the ink used in proper location
•    Prepare ink/sleeves for next order
•    Return plates to mounting department
•    Visually identity non-conforming product
•    Assist Operator with change over
•    Perform basic maintenance duties
•    Maintain clean work area (floor/trash)
•    Complete end of shift checklist

Qualifications
•    Manufacturing Experience (preferred)
•    Basic mathematical calculation skills
•    Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions
•    Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
•    Basic computer knowledge
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements
•    Standing and walking 90% of the shift
•    Can lift up to 50 lbs.
•    Be able to push, pull, squat, bend or reach 10% of the workday
•    Be able to handle, grasp, and perform repetitive motions
•    Have eye/hand/foot coordination
•    Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from 60 degrees to 90+ depending on the season and the department
