Empower parents. Strengthen families. Create safer futures.
At Waypoint, our Family Support Mentors (Parent Aides/Coaches) guide families involved with DCYF through vulnerable moments toward lasting stability. If you’re passionate about child safety, positive parenting, and practical problem-solving, this is where your compassion becomes transformation. We have a part time opening on our Manchester, NH team. Flexible hours of up to 29 hours per week. Afternoons and weekend availability preferred to meet with families around school and work obligations.
What you’ll do
Coach & encourage. Use evidence-based Family Time Coaching to model nurturing parenting skills during supervised visits.
Keep kids safe. Provide calm, emotionally and physically secure environments while transporting and supervising children and parents.
Drive progress. Collaborate with CPSWs/JPPOs, foster or kin placements, and your supervisor to deliver goal-focused interventions—health & safety education, resource referrals, life-skills training and more.
Document & coordinate. Maintain clear, confidential electronic records (Office 365/SharePoint) and manage a dynamic schedule of multiple daily visits.
