Manager Engineering chez Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital

RESPONSIBLE FOR: 
Planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating and controlling the activities of assigned department functions, which are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utilities and grounds of the hospital in an operative and safe working condition, and coordinating construction activities.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school graduate required. College degree or equivalent preferred.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Ten years of experience in a related healthcare facility setting. Two years supervisory experience required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Substantial knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, building structure and construction.
Understanding of life safety systems, regulatory requirements governing hospitals and budgeting procedures preferred.
