Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Manager to lead key product and market initiatives within our Horizontal Business Unit. This role is responsible for managing the Pack Series Flow Wrapper portfolio, Americas robotic and pre-engineered platforms, and driving global strategies for the Medical Device and Chilled, Fresh & Frozen sectors. The Product Manager will own product planning and execution across the full lifecycle—from vision and roadmap development to cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, marketing, and support. Success will be measured by market share growth, customer satisfaction (NPS), revenue, and EBITDA performance.

  • Lead the full product lifecycle for the New Richmond site portfolio, including roadmap execution, market launches, and quality gate reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with the BU Product Manager to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by gathering market intelligence and aligning internal functions—sales, engineering, marketing, service, and management.
  • Develop marketing programs, sales materials, and product training to support product lines and drive market adoption.
  • Define product value propositions and competitive differentiators.
  • Represent the product line at trade shows, conferences, and customer-facing events.
  • Manage beta and pilot product programs; provide ongoing training and strategic consultation to the sales team.
Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Must possess a BA or BS degree in Marketing or Product Management
  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a B2B Product Manager
  • Must have at least 3+ years of experience in the OEM Packaging Machinery Industry
  • Travel up to 25% international and domestic

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred
  • Expertise in the product of flow wrapping and robotics 
  • Experience in one of the following markets:  bakery, bars and chocolate, cookies and cracker, chilled, fresh and frozen, medical device
  • Strong technical product orientation and knowledge of packaging machines
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching new products
  • Proven ability to work within local and international teams without formal authority
Additional Information:

The anticipated base salary for this position starts at $90,000 per year. 

Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. Total rewards at Syntegon include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
