The Linen Distribution Team leader maintains the programs to deliver, pick up, and process linen needs for Glens Falls Hospital and properties. This position maintains linen delivery weights, distribution pars, restock fill rates, soil linen pick up, and soil weights. The data collected is to ensure proper linen cost, charges, and availability of linen products for all customers. Each point of delivery must be memorialized to capture usage, charges, and opportunities for cost reductions. The position participates in the Linen Committee to ensure linen quality, and metrics for continuous quality improvement. The position maintains time, and materials records, in an organized manor to be able to produce usage, and needs reports. The position requires skill sets to communicate effectively, establish productive working relationships and conflict management.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential
Responsibilities

• Count in clean linen and prepare on distribution racks for filling of rolling cart exchange systems.
• Manages par levels to fill ratios with adjustment needs maintained ensuring patient care, quality linen needs are met. This includes records for off location deliveries and subsequent charging of such.
• Sets up delivery carts, and delivers linens to the floors. 
• Provides daily work coordination of pick up, delivery, and process sundry linen  items within a clean and soil separation environment.
• Conducts quality assurance rounds to ensure internal customer satisfaction with the linen quality, amounts, and service.

Education/Accredited Programs

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Skills/Abilities

• Minimum of 2 years of linen and/or distribution services experience peferred
• Ability to add, subtract, and keep documented inventory records
• Ability to apply cost to linen usage, and use linen distribution program software

Salary Range
The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $19.25 to $25.00 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
