The Program Coordinator for the Community, Access, Retention and Empowerment Office (CARE) Assists with the coordination and implementation of summer and academic year student services programs for  undergraduate Engineering students that promote academic excellence and community.

Oversees the logistical coordination of events including advertisement and informational sharing with students. Tracks student activity in academic success suites and programs to assist with program assessment and retention reporting. Creates and maintains student databases. Manages the day-to-day operations of the CARE Student Academic Success Suite (SASS) (e.g., opening and closing of space, managing room reservations, ordering office supplies, etc.). Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education and/or STEM related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2 years’ experience coordinating and implementing student academic programs. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs. Ability to pay attention to detail and accurately identify errors or corrections. Ability to work with faculty, staff, students, and external organizations of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Ability to work independently and to delegate.

Desired: 2-4 years of relevant experience coordinating and implementing student academic programs.
