As an entry-level Superintendent, you will support the field and construction team to ensure projects are completed safely, on budget, and on schedule. As an entry-level Superintendent, you will support the field and construction team to ensure projects are completed safely, on budget, and on schedule. You’ll gain hands-on experience while helping coordinate project activities and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in developing, monitoring, and tracking critical path dates and milestone schedules.
- Supporting weekly foreman meetings.
- Documenting daily project activities through logs and photographs.
- Helping define and review expectations for subcontractors.
- Conducting weekly safety inspections and documenting observations.
- Performing carpentry and general construction tasks as needed.
- Helping strengthen relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of construction field experience (internships or co-op experience accepted).
- Familiarity with construction and carpentry tools and equipment, including power tools.
- Knowledge of jobsite safety procedures.
- Proficiency in Procore (preferred).
- Leadership roles in extracurricular activities or student organizations.
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High initiative and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
