We are currently seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to support operations in Lakehurst, NJ. This is a full-time CONUS position requiring an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
What You’ll Do
Independent Cybersecurity Support: Provide hands-on, independent support for the cybersecurity posture of DOD weapon system programs and associated IT infrastructures, including hardware, firmware, software, and network components.
Policy Implementation & Compliance: Interpret, implement, and ensure adherence to DOD and U.S. Navy cybersecurity and information assurance policies, regulations, and frameworks (e.g., RMF, NIST SP 800 series, STIGs).
Risk Assessment & Vulnerability Management: Conduct comprehensive assessments of system and software risks and vulnerabilities. Identify threat vectors, evaluate potential impact, and develop mitigation strategies aligned with mission and operational requirements.
Cyber Strategy Development: Design and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect information systems across their lifecycle. Define secure connectivity and system interface requirements to ensure resilience and integrity of communications and data flow.
Cybersecurity Documentation & Accreditation: Prepare and maintain cyber support documentation packages, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and other required artifacts for the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. Support system integration efforts and facilitate certification and accreditation (C&A) activities.
Security Operations & Monitoring: Plan, implement, upgrade, and continuously monitor cybersecurity measures to protect computer networks and sensitive information. Utilize tools to detect intrusions, assess security event logs, and enforce proactive defense mechanisms.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, systems integration, and IT teams to ensure secure architecture design, risk mitigation, and cybersecurity compliance throughout system development and deployment phases.
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems or related scientific /technical discipline.
Requires a minimum of ten (10) years of cybersecurity experience.
Certifications:
Must have a current and active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies
Travel & Passport
Some overnight stays possible.
Work Environment
Compliance with vaccination and medical requirements for TDY/OCONUS roles as per Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil.
Office setting:
Primarily an office-based role in Lakehurst, NJ
Standard desk/computer work with flexibility for walking and movement on site
Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
