Role Overview: Unpack Your Potential
Join Amcor as a Printing Press Assistant and play a key role in producing high-quality packaging that makes a global impact. You’ll ensure safety, quality standards, and contribute to a team focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.
Schedule
Shift: 2-2-3: 12-hour shifts, nights, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Pay: $20.69-$26.64/hour + $1.25/hour night shift premium

Job Description: Possibility Unpacked
What you’ll do:
Prepare inks, substrates, plates, cylinders, gears, etc. for scheduled job.
Assist Press Operator in monitoring the product to ensure quality.
Knowledge and ability to perform make-readies.
Participate in the operation of the press with the ability to operate if needed.
Order, Charge, and Return raw materials to each job as needed.
Complete necessary daily paperwork.
Complete 5S/housekeeping logs.
Follow and be held accountable for adherence to all of the company policies and procedures as they are outlined and defined.
Remove and identify all scrap except flying splices before master rolls get moved to WIP area
All other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor and/or Management
What We Want From You: Lead the Pack
Preferred qualifications:
Ability read, understand, and follow customer specifications
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
Forklift experience preferred
Must have basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software
Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors
