Production Scheduler chez UPSIDE INNOVATIONS LLC

Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scheduling work using Mie Trak ERP system to support steady workflow in all areas of the manufacturing facility
• Working with the Planning Department to coordinate planned work with what is being scheduled through manufacturing
• Check Kanban inventory and collect cards that will be used to create work orders in the ERP system
• Work closely with the Shop Manager to learn the capabilities of of the CNC saws and
• CNC mills to maximize capacity
• Work closely with the the production Team Leaders to ensure they are supported and have all information and documents they need to be successful
• Print out work orders daily and release them to the shop in the appropriate order to ensure machines are fully utilized
• Willing to learn how to schedule future equipment such as a tube laser, press brake, plate laser and roll forming machine
• Required to work in both an office and in the manufacturing environment
• Able to schedule standard and custom work through the shop

Qualifications

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in planning and scheduling production
• Knowledge and experience using an ERP system, Mie Trak is a plus
• Familiarity of welding machines, CNC saws and CNC milling equipment is a plus
• Experience scheduling and nesting a tube laser is a plus
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively with cross functional teams
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a production environment
• Analytical thinker with excellent interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and
• non-technical staff
