Our Communications and Campaigns Manager a cross-functional role that blends internal communications, external campaigns, PR, and brand storytelling. You’ll be responsible for creating and delivering engaging multi-channel campaigns that reflect our corporate strategy, values, and vision to inspire our people and clients, build thought leadership, and increase awareness of our mission and impact.
What will you be doing?
- Develop and implement a cohesive internal and external communications strategy aligned with Amber’s purpose, B Corp values, and business goals.
- Lead the planning and execution of multi-channel campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and support commercial and cultural priorities.
- Own the messaging framework to ensure consistency of tone, voice, and storytelling across all touchpoints.
- Manage internal communication channels (e.g., newsletters, Microsoft Teams, leadership updates).
- Create and curate engaging content that informs, inspires, and connects employees with Amber’s mission.
- Produce engaging, timely content to support company-wide updates, change programmes, and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with leaders and the People team to align internal messaging with culture, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives.
- Develop and implement an integrated external communications and campaign strategy that drives brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation across our audience base.
- Own the messaging framework to ensure consistency across channels, campaigns, and content.
- Build media relationships and pitch thought leadership content to enhance Amber’s profile as a Net Zero and energy consultancy expert.
- Collaborate with commercial and technical teams to translate complex services and insights into accessible, enticing, and engaging communications.
- Develop case studies, press releases, and op-eds that showcase Amber’s expertise, impact, and innovation in the Net Zero space.
- Work closely with the wider Marketing, People, and Leadership teams to ensure communications are aligned with business and culture priorities.
- Support Amber’s employer brand by amplifying employee stories, achievements, and internal successes.
- Help embed our values into the everyday employee experience through storytelling and strategic messaging.
What does good look like?
- Proven experience in a communications, campaigns, or PR role - ideally in a purpose-led, B2B, sustainability, or consultancy environment.
- A natural storyteller with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a sharp editorial eye.
- Skilled at translating technical information into engaging, people-first content.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Confident working independently and collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
- Experience working with remote or hybrid teams and internal platforms such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and email campaign tools.
- Data-driven mindset - comfortable using insights to inform content and campaign direction.
- Creative, proactive, and passionate about sustainability, communications, and culture.
