The Vice President of Sales - EMEA will provide executive and strategic leadership in business operations, commercial execution, new market entry and business development. Reporting to the SVP – Asia & EMEA, the role will provide consistent value to our customers, be the leader on the ground guiding the execution of critical initiatives with a goal to increase overall market penetration in EMEA. The successful candidate will collaborate both with the EMEA partners set but equally across the global matrix structure to deliver the region’s growth strategy. 

What you'll do

  • Lead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies. 
  • Liaise with relevant, global functions to realize adjacent market opportunities. 
  • Be a strategic business partner to senior leaders within the broader Aristocrat organization. 
  • Collaborate with internal customers such as Design and Development, Product Management, Tech Services, Finance, Pricing, Marketing, BF&S, Gaming Operations and Systems to drive EMEA business initiatives and complete all key priorities. 
  • Provide strategic and operational input to the EMEA Sales function and development of the EMEA strategic plan. 
  • Work with the SVP – Asia & EMEA to establish targets and empower the team to achieve budgeted sales volumes. 
  • Support the annual budget goals for unit sales, margins, expenditure control and profitability for EMEA. 
  • Collaborate with the SVP- Asia & EMEA to ensure key customer/corporate relationships are developed and maintained. 
  • Evaluate results to determine if interpersonal objectives are being met and take corrective action where required. 
  • Identify effective hardware & software pricing strategies to allow for growth and increase Aristocrat’s competitive advantage. 
  • Review and manage ongoing game performance and develop strategies to drive incremental revenue and customer satisfaction. 
  • Perform annual market research as new mechanics are being introduced to ensure Studios have relevant player feedback. 
  • Support and drive content strategy through alignment of Aristocrat’s core development philosophy which addresses several player segments. Identify customization opportunities which appeal to existing players as well as attracting new players. 
  • Capture and communicate platform and/or content opportunities to improve alignments in new markets. 
  • Sponsor continuous improvement of processes. 

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or a related field required. 
  • Minimum 10+ years of sales experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience leading a sales team. 
  • Experienced leading global or cross functional teams. 
  • Ability to develop and empower high performing sales team. 
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English and Spanish. 
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales goals while maintaining and developing customer relationships. 
  • Demonstrate creative, innovative, analytical, forward-thinking abilities. 
  • Demonstrate extensive product and technical knowledge of the company’s games and systems products to customers and respond effectively to customer, and internal team, questions. 
  • Ability to partner with internal teams (analytics, product, sales leadership, etc.) to ensure a positive customer experience. 
  • Be able to travel with little or no notice, potential extended periods and must be able to travel by air any day of the week. 
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information regarding the company, company products and employee information.
