About the opportunity
PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Education Project Assistant provides a range of administrative services to support the performance and progress of Education projects and initiatives in the Faculty of Medicine and Health. The role engages with diverse project stakeholders, provides accurate and efficient project delivery support and effectively communicates project status.
DECISION MAKING AND DELEGATIONS OF AUTHORITY
The Education Project Assistant works under routine supervision, performing tasks as directed and in accordance with defined responsibilities. They may make choices between established methods of work and plan and prioritise tasks. They also resolve minor operational problems and routine matters related to responsibilities. They may provide advice that is reviewed and approved by more senior staff.

Key Responsibilities
provide administrative support to one or more education projects by documenting and updating tasks and assisting with the control of project materials and reports
maintain and manage project data, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and data integrity
identify and assist with the implementation of administrative improvements to automate processes and proactively report project issues to management
maintain productive relationships with internal and external project stakeholders
implement effective and transparent communication activities to keep stakeholders informed
undertake other duties appropriate within the classification level as required.
About you
experienced in supporting education focused projects and management and coordination of all Project / Program documentation
experience with Power BI
prior experience in project administration
excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office) for the preparation of documents, records, communications and presentations, coupled with a general understanding of the project life cycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies.
data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work to meet multiple deadlines and maintain attention to detail in a high volume environment.
experience in the higher education industry
