MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented TEMPEST Practitioner to join our team in Springfield, VA.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist in executing TEMPEST Activities & Compliance: Ensure all TEMPEST Countermeasures Reviews, Visual TEMPEST Inspections (VTIs), and other technical inspections, assessments, evaluations, and reviews are completed accurately and within established timeframes, adhering to National Policy and NGA CTTA requirements.Support the NGA TEMPEST Program: Assist the NGA Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) in implementing and managing the TEMPEST program, which includes analyzing requirements and developing processes to control or mitigate compromising emanations from NGA equipment and facilities.Provide TEMPEST Guidance and Assistance: Offer advice and support to NGA customers by collecting necessary information for the TEMPEST mission (e.g., drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment specifications) and assisting with online workflow requests, checklists, and Protective Distribution System (PDS) requests.Conduct TEMPEST Testing and Inspections: Perform VTIs and TEMPEST testing of NGA facilities, systems, and equipment, including SCIFs and PDS, as directed by the NGA CTTA.Represent and Report on TEMPEST Issues: Act as the NGA CTTA's representative in meetings concerning classified information processing, providing detailed assessments of TEMPEST scope, and ensuring accurate and timely TEMPEST reporting, including annual technical evaluations.Manage Daily TEMPEST Operations: Maintain the accuracy of the NGA TEMPEST Automated Workflow Process, ensure timely completion of all TEMPEST reports, checklists, PDS requests, and Countermeasure Reviews, and oversee annual technical evaluations.Minimum Qualifications:7+ years of experience in TEMPEST, Physical or Technical Security, or Facility Inspection related fields.Desired Qualifications:Credentialed graduate of an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy.Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.Advanced TEMPEST training.Experience with facility accreditation inspections, shielding, grounding, and Protected Distribution SystemsNational TEMPEST School certifications for completion of TEMPEST Fundamentals and TEMPEST for System Installation and Facility Design, Test Equipment Familiarization and Field-Testing Basics coursesClearance Requirements:Must have a TS/SCI with the ability to pass a CI PolyPhysical Requirements:The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
