Description
Supervise daily warehouse operations. Including delivery drivers/warehouse personnel, parts deliveries, stocking, shipping, receiving, core maintenance and other duties assigned by Parts Manager.
Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
Essential job duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist Parts Manager in the hiring process for delivery drivers and warehouse personnel, including conducting interviews etc.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations and administer reprimands/performance improvement plans as needed for delivery drivers and warehouse personnel.
- Enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
- Manage the receipt of incoming parts orders which requires lifting, moving, etc.
- Coordinate and manage parts deliveries which requires lifting, moving, etc.
- Ship parts to customers via overnight carriers; i.e., UPS, FedEx, motor freight, etc. which requires lifting, moving, etc.
- Manage the core process. Receive dirty cores, stage them neatly for processing and prepare core returns to supplier. Complete core returns per OE/Vendor instructions which requires lifting, moving, etc.
- Learn bin locations and which part numbers are to be stocked in each bin. Manage and maintain these locations.
- Initiate cycle counts of inventory, manage the reconciliation process.
- Check in and verify stock and emergency orders and file paperwork when complete. Attention to detail is critical during this task to make sure that inventory on hand and system values remain consistent.
- Manage the stocking of shelves and verify part numbers and bin locations are correct. Place parts in correct locations when stocking bins. Make sure all parts are in a box if they will fit in one. Requires lifting, moving, bending, etc.
- Manage the overall cleanliness of the warehouse and upkeep of the delivery vehicles, Including preventative maintenance.
- Assist in maintaining all areas of parts and grounds (building maintenance.)
- Make sure pallets and other shipping containers in their proper location.
- Assist in shipping warranty parts and keep documentation, i.e., freight company paperwork with attaching tracking information.
- Answer shipping and receiving telephone.
- Assist all parts staff as required to learn additional job requirements.
- Perform any and all other duties as directed by company management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good interpersonal skills and basic computer skills. MS Office (Word & Excel) skills are highly recommended. Ability to be trained on business software products which are an essential tool in this position.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Requires lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 130 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to push/pull a force up to 120 lbs. during the normal course of the workday. Must be able to climb up and down steps to reach for, pull out and carry parts from warehouse shelving.
Requires standing, bending, stretching, stooping, crouching, reaching and manipulating a computer keyboard; heavy lifting. Requires the use of both hands

Total Compensation Package: $50,000-$60,000 per year, including base salary and bonuses
