Security Clearance Requirement: The candidate must be clearable to DoD Secret Level.

Education: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a similar field of study. 

Experience Level: 

Senior level with 10+ years of Supply Chain Management experience in production environments. 5+ years of directly applicable experience in the defense/aerospace industry

Travel: 

Local –Required annual travel less than 10%

Overview:

Sedna Digital Solutions is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to support our development and manufacturing team’s operations from procurement to final assembly. This position involves overseeing the end-to-end flow of goods, maintaining costs managing supplier relationships, and mitigating risks to keep the supply chain running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Department of Defense hardware procurement and manufacturing within a fast-paced, innovative environment. Experience with Naval systems, submarines, Sonar, and/or undersea warfare preferred but not required.

Job Responsibilities:


· Planning and Strategy: Developing strategies to optimize inventory, production planning, and managing logistics networks. Address cross functional business areas while monitoring business plans, market conditions, technology roadmaps, cost modeling, and sourcing strategies

· Process Oversight: Monitoring and analyzing Sedna’s supply chain to ensure processes are efficient and any issues are promptly addressed.

· Supplier Management: Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of quality raw materials and components. Owner of RFQ's - ensuring all commercial terms are agreed and documented. Manage respective supplier relationships and performance, including but not limited to dispute resolution, supplier scorecards, and periodic business reviews.

· Property: Direct supervision of procurement and property teams. Responsible for contract furnished, internal, and Government property

· Logistics Coordination: Organizing transportation and storage of products while minimizing costs and delivery times.

· Manufacturability: Participate in Design for Manufacturability reviews with Engineering partners and prospective suppliers, and drive decisions from a cost perspective. Lead cross-functional teams to manage project timelines including developing and maintaining action trackers, Gantt charts, and other program management tools related to on-time delivery of supplier parts against Program timing.

· Risk Management: Implementing supply chain risk management strategies to assess potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions. Monitor industry trends, track technology roadmaps, and actively partner with engineering development teams to identify/mitigate supply and demand challenges



Basic Qualifications: 

  • Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills. Position will have end-to-end supply chain responsibilities and lead Sedna’s Procurement, Property, and Quality teams
  • Entrepreneurial ownership approach, adapting to ambiguity and open to change by shifting priorities, playing any number of roles, and enlisting help as needed to      achieve goals.
  • Ability to author and review statements of work (SOW), RFI's, RFP's, and supplier commercial and technical proposals including purchase orders and subcontracts
  • Preferred background in electro-mechanical, electrical, small and large assembly component sourcing/strategy
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Analytical with ability to build out Should-Cost models and cost forecasts
  • Proficient knowledge of technical requirements & design of Department of Defense products and be able to influence cross functional partners with detailed analysis that supports optimized pricing and product sourcing decisions
  • Having a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) is required.
  • Having a strong understanding of various contract types, including Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price and Time and Material types is required.
  • At least intermediate level experience using general office databases, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and related applications
  • Knowledge of logistics, inventory management, policies, and procedures
  • Experience using Deltek Costpoint Enterprise Reporting System highly desirable
