Description:Candidate serves as the SOATB MH60 team lead assisting the MH47/6/60 aircraft maintenance supervisor. Assists with the daily scheduling and assigning of tasks in support of operations at home station and TDY locations. Backfills the maintenance supervisor in their absence.
Responsibilities:- This AM2 will monitor maintenance activities ensuring that the daily flight schedule requirements are met.
- Receives technical guidance from the aircraft maintenance supervisor and may be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks.
- Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.
- Assists in planning for TDY trip support and providing logistical assistance from home station.
- Provides technical guidance to team mechanics.
- May be required to work on aircraft during personnel shortages.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of MH60 aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures. General knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair. General knowledge of electrical and avionics procedures and operations.
- Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools, special tools, and test equipment.
- This job requires working knowledge of technical publications and must be familiar with ACN and Hydra applications.
- 6 years of rotary wing aviation maintenance experience minimum.
- Must have own tools/toolbox.
- Must be able to travel TDY as required for up to two weeks at a time.
- Must have good leadership skills, to include strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a basic physical to operate equipment and operate on the flight line.
