Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Pay Rate: $32.69–$37.50 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (paid quarterly over 18 months) for full time positions.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in delivering quality nursing care to students. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LPN uses independent nursing judgment to assess, document, and evaluate the effects of care.

Alternating Schedule:

• Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday | 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

• Week 2: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday | 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care in alignment with each student’s health needs.
• Accurately assess, document, and monitor care outcomes.
• Collaborate with RNs, ancillary staff, and the student care team to maintain professional standards of practice.
• Support school policy, mission, and state regulations to ensure safe, effective care.

Nursing Staff – Job Duties

• Coordinate care for students with chronic health conditions, including diabetes, seizures, and life-threatening allergies

• Communicate with staff to ensure students’ health and well-being

• Develop and maintain individualized care plans

• Administer prescribed medications per physician orders and monitor delegated medication administration

• Provide first aid and treatment for minor injuries

• Conduct health assessments and refer to physicians as needed

• Educate and train staff on asthma, allergies, diabetes, infection control, and other health-related topics
