Responsibilities & Duties:

• Evaluate and diagnose mechanical & electrical problems.
• Welding & fabrication of repairs
• Examine parts for damage or excessive wear.
• Repair or replace damaged or worn heavy-duty parts
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and tools.
• Test the equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance
• Perform preventative maintenance

Requirements

 Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED – Required
• 2-5 years of experience with heavy-duty equipment repair – Preferred
• State Certifications - Preferred
• Trailer body and Welding and Fabrication experience – Preferred
• Having your hand tools
• Time management
• Self-starter with a great attitude
• Must be able to pass a lift test
• Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical, and audiogram test
