During your Non-Clinical Master’s Internship, you:
- Will have the opportunity to experience programs such as Care Coordination, ARMHS (Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services) and CTSS (Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports) Adult and Child TCM (Targeted Case management) Crisis Services, and Peer Support services.
- Will be provided opportunities to gain skills of wraparound case planning, basic assessments, skills training, advocating for individual’s needs, connecting individuals with services and supports, collaboration with partner supports. Additionally, interns will experience working in a community mental health clinic that has an integrated clinical approach that serves individuals in a holistic approach.
- Will experience and have opportunities to be a part and lead group services, individual skills, crisis planning, treatment planning.
- Will support our Care Coordination team and learn/shadow the various programs throughout RMHC (ARMHS, ADAPT, TCM, Wellstone, etc).
- Will have a tailored learning plan to support individual growth.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be enrolled in a college or university program to be eligible for this internship.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Adequate level of vision to use computer terminal.
- Sufficient hearing to accurately record information received verbally.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Regular and reliable attendance is a requirement to this position
